Thomas Reid MacDonald (1908-1978)

Thomas Reid MacDonald, also known as T.R. MacDonald, was a Montreal-born Canadian artist. During the Second World War, he served as an Official War Artist in the First Canadian Infantry Division. Later in his life, MacDonald became the founding curator-director of the Art Gallery of Hamilton. His work is held within the collection of the National Gallery of Canada.
