Richard Florsheim

Richard Aberle Florsheim (1916-1979)

Richard Florsheim was an American artist, known for his work in sculpture, painting, and lithography. He was a member of various artists' organizations including the Artists Equity Association and the Illinois Arts Council. Florsheim became an active member of the arts scene of Chicago, where he died in 1979. His work is in the permanent collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
