Kathleen Margaret Graham (1913-2008) RCA

Kathleen Margaret Graham was born in Hamilton, Ontario in 1913. Graham, who didn't start painting before the age of 50, is best known for her work as an abstract impressionist artist. Graham was working at the Art Gallery of Toronto (now AGO) when she received encouragement from Jack Bush to being painting. Graham's work is held within the permanent collections at the National Gallery of Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, and the British Museum.
