Henry Eric Bergman (1893-1958) CPE

Henry Eric Bergman was born in Dresden, Germany in 1893. While he had no formal arts education, he apprenticed in a commercial art studio in Dresden before immigrating to Canada in 1913. He studied and worked with F. Brigden and W.J. Phillips, focusing on wood engravings and watercolour. He died in 1958 in Winnipeg.
