George Burton Wallace

George Burton Wallace (1920-2009)

George Burton Wallace was born near Dublin, Ireland in 1920. Wallace spent the early part of his adulthood in Ireland, where he studied philosophy at Trinity College and later taught at various art schools throughout Ireland. At 37, Wallace and his family immigrated to Canada, where he taught at Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson) and McMaster University in Hamilton. Wallace died in Victoria, BC in 2009.
