Edward Bartram

Edward Bartram (Canadian, 1938-2019)

Edward Bartram was a Canadian artist known for his prints of Georgian Bay. Born in London, Ontario, Bartram was largely self-taught, but attended the University of Western and the University of Toronto, where he studied art and archaeology. Bartram learned about printmaking from established artists including Vera Frenkel and J.C. Heywood. His work has been represented by Mira Godard Gallery of Toronto and is held within the collections of the Museum London in London Ontario, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, and elsewhere.
