Anne Kahane

Anne Kahane (1924-2023)

Anne Kahane was an Austrian-born Canadian artist. After moving to Canada in 1925, Kahane studied sculpture, commercial art, industrial design, and architecture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Montreal. She gained a reputation as an artist within and beyond Canada, and later taught art at Concordia University and McMaster University. She died in 2023.
